Waterfalls!
Driving through the dense jungle on whizzing motorbikes looking forward to TAT KUANG SAI WATERFALLS! On Wednesday we went to some awesome waterfalls they were crystal turquoise colour, huge and rather refreshing on a hot Luang Prabang day. As we were walking to the waterfalls we wandered through a bear sanctuary it was awesome! I walked up some wooden stairs then I saw a....bear, but not just one about seven of them, they were either sitting down or sleeping.( pictures down below)
Once we had enough in that waterfall we each wrapped a towel around us and walked up to the next waterfall. This one was quite a bit smaller than the first one. Connor and I jumped off a little 1 metre cliff, and then my Dad said me and Connor should climb the waterfall up to the next one.
Now this one had lots of little pools and than a waterfall with different sorts of levels by big rocks going up to the top like stairs. We swam around in the pools and got some photos in the actual waterfall! When you're under the water it was quite hard on our skin because there is so much water!
When Dad said we had to get out that meant we were going to the final waterfall, the huge one. Its 60 metres high and very dangerous because if you were at the top and slipped you would probably land face first on the lower rocks. We got some photos of the waterfall. After that we walk back to the first waterfall where there were changing rooms.
As we ride back to our hotel I think "we had such a fun day!"
Looks beautiful like a tropical resort! Angus is jealous about you going on the motorbike - how fun!
